Take your Driving Exam with us!

A&K Driving Austin is an authorized third-party test site for DPS. Driving Exams are offered for both Teen Drivers and Adult Drivers. Schedule online or give us a call at (512)505-8398.

Applicants MUST have a valid Texas Learner's Permit
School's vehicle provided
Includes 2 attempts with purchase -- get one free re-take in the event you don't pass the first time
Make sure you'll have all required paperwork at the time of your appointment!

Texas Teens: Start driving with A&K!

If you are currently enrolled in a Texas Teen Driver's Education program (in-person or online), you can complete your required
in-car instruction with A&K Driving Austin.

Our Teen Driver Package fulfills the in-car requirements for teen driver's ed. -- 7 Hours of Driving and 7 Hours of Observation

Teen Drivers must have their Texas Learner's Permit in order to sign up.
Students completing an "instructor-led" course are required to submit a transfer certificate upon completion of their 32-hrs of online/classroom coursework.

7 hours driving + 7 hours observation

In-car Driving Lessons

We offer private, one-on-one driving lessons with licensed instructors that emphasize safety and confidence on the road.

Each driving lesson is one (1) hour long and conducted in our school's vehicles. Our cars are fitted with passenger-side brakes and extra rearview mirrors as added safety measures for students and instructors.

Driving Packages

Driving Packages bundle multiple driving lessons at a discounted rate. This allows students to schedule their lessons at their own convenience and availability. The driving lessons allow for a natural progression of practice and skill as students advance in their driving experience.

Driving Packages may also include additional services such as Pick-up/Drop-off and the Driving Exam.
